How Do I Order Online?
Click on any of the order now buttons all over the website. If you want to stage 4 photos for example, add 4 to your cart and go through the checkout process. After you enter payment details you will see upload photo buttons for the 4 you ordered. Upload them by selecting them from your computer or device.
Did my photos upload with my order?
Our team will contact you if the photos are not uploaded with your order, but you can always email us the photos at info@vrxstaging.com.
How does virtual staging work?
Once the photos are received, they are processed in our staging software where room dimensions are calibrated and digital furniture is added.
What is included in virtual staging?
Virtual staging includes all appropriate furniture, decor, rugs, lighting, art, plants and most accessories for the space being staged.
How many staging photos can I order?
Do you take the photographs prior to virtually staging them?
Photographs must be provided to us. If you need a professional photographer, check to see if our sister company, VRX Media, is in your area at vrxmedia.com/book-appointment.
What type of photograph works best for virtual staging?
We find images shot in HDR (“bracketed”) from a DSLR with a wide-angle lens where the ceiling, floor, and most walls are visible, will work the best. Also note, photos over 6MB in file size will not upload, so keep the file sizes down (500KB – 2MB work best)! We can stage photos taken by a cell phone if they are in JPG format. Unsure if your photos will look compatible with our digital furniture? Email them to us at info@vrxstaging.com.
I’m not sure which of my photographs will work the best for staging, can you review them for me?
Yes, we are happy to take a look and recommend the best photos for staging. Just email the photos to us at info@vrxstaging.com.
What if I have more than one photo of the same room? Can you do those too?
Yes, we can stage the same room from multiple angles, if a room requires additional manipulation will we let you know. Again, it is $29/per photo, not per room, so if you would like to stage multiple angles, each photo is $29 for us to stage it, even if they are photos of the same room. We also take care to note when a photo may show another area of the home that we also virtually staged, and we do our best to keep the same design pieces in those areas, even if they are in the background.
What if I want a certain design style?
We totally understand that every space is unique and most will call for furniture and decorations that fit the space. Our virtual staging team has staged hundreds of photos and do a great job on their own, with little to no direction, but if you want a specific style, please describe in the Additional Comments field before finishing your order! Do you stage outdoor spaces?
We can virtually stage outdoor patios, decks and backyards with the appropriate furniture. We do not have the ability to do digital landscaping beyond green grass/blue sky replacement (this is a separate service). We do not add digital pools but can stage a pool with deck chairs and potted plants and other outdoor furniture.
My listing is currently furnished, can you remove the furniture?
Yes! We offer furniture removal + virtual staging for $55 per photo. The photos will take 2-3 business days to complete. If the room is too crowded and our photoshop team can’t successfully remove everything we will let you know and issue you a refund.
Do you offer virtual remodeling services (i.e. removing/adding walls)?
No, we do not offer any virtual remodeling services beyond furniture removal or wall color change.
Do you offer rendering services?
No, we do not offer rendering services at this time.
When can I expect my photos?
If you have ordered virtual staging, blue sky/green grass or virtual twilight you can expect to receive your completed order by 5pm CST 1 business day after your order has been received. Furniture removal + virtual staging, wall color change or an approved photo modification may take up to 3 business days to complete.
When can I expect my photos if I order on a Friday or over the weekend?
If your virtual staging order is placed on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, the completed photos will be delivered to you by 5pm CST on Monday.
Why did I receive two copies of my photos?
We provide two copies of each photograph we stage; one copy will have a text disclosure on the upper left hand corner of the photograph that says “Virtually Staged” and the second copy has no text. We recommend that you use the text copies in your MLS, if you don’t it is your responsibility to disclose in every photo title/description that the photo has been virtually staged.
I think a different photo would work better than the one I got staged, will there be a fee for this?
If you’d like us to stage a different photo after we emailed you the completed photo, we do require you to place another order of virtual staging. This is because each photo is treated individually and has to be calibrated/staged regardless if another view of the same room has already been staged.
Can I get a revision? Do I have to pay for a revision?
Of course! We want to make sure you get the look you’re after. We offer unlimited free revisions within reason. If you are unhappy with the results of our virtual staging designs after multiple (3+) revisions, we may refuse further revisions if it seems the requests are unreasonable.
After the photos are staged can I use them for marketing purposes?
Yes, after the photos have been completed, they are yours to use as you’d like. We reserve the right to use any photograph for our own marketing purposes.
Can I use my photos in MLS?

Are there any additional fees?
Additional fees may apply if you request work that is not covered in the product you ordered. Example if you just pay for virtual staging but the photograph you submit has existing furniture, we will require you to pay for furniture removal in addition to your virtual staging fee.
